Life Legacy
Beloved husband and father, David S. Jones, has peacefully completed his adventure on Earth. Born 1-23-28 in Central Falls, RI and died 8-20-12 in Dallas. David was a great provider and strong presence in his family. He and June, his wife of 63 years, have been avid bridge players and world travelers. David's life included being part of the U.S. Navy Air Corps, attending Brown University, working as a manufacturer's representative for and then owner of Cree and Cree, Inc. He was a member of Garland's Lion Club and at St. David's Episcopal Church where a memorial service will be Thurs. at 2:30. Friends are welcome Wed 6 - 7 pm at Williams. He is survived by his wife, June Jones of Garland; son, Kevin Jones and wife Kathy of Lufkin; daughter, Dr. Kim Freeman and husband Gilbert of Garland; son, Keith Jones and wife Teresa of Rockwall; son, Kyle Jones and wife Kendra of Lake Highlands; grandchildren, Kacie and husband Jonathan, Jason, Ashley and husband Daniel, Ross, Lexi, Lauren and Nicole, Jack, Hunt and wife Talli, MacKenzie, and Margot; great grandchildren, Kelsen, Tallulah, and Kadin; sister, Helene Burhans. He was preceded in death by granddaughter, Kellie Autumn Jones.
