Life Legacy
John "Bob" Thomas, long-time resident of Garland, passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at the age of 72. He was an active member of First Baptist Church of Garland.
He is survived by his wife, Faye Thomas, three sons, Mike, Jeff, and David, and grandchildren, Zach, Kim, and Evie, and brother, Jim Thomas and wife Karen; and many friends and other relatives.
Born in Fort Worth February 17, 1940 to John and Evelyn Thomas, he graduated from Garland High School in 1957. He married Faye on June14, 1980. He retired at age 61 from Perot Systems.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Monday, August 6 at Williams Funeral Directors in South Garland. Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 7 at Williams Memorial Chapel in South Garland. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the mission work of First Baptist Church of Garland.
