Life Legacy

Linda Sue Earley (Willbern, maiden name)
November 24, 1948 - May 9, 2012

Linda tragically passed away on May 9th, 2012 as of the result of a traffic accident. While her family is mourning the loss of their beloved wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and aunt, we are comforted to know she is in heaven with our Lord. She and her husband, Fred, were devout christians and served faithfully at Firewheel Church.

Linda is survived by her husband, Fred Earley; daughter and son-in-law Dori and Stacey Ramsay; daughter Amy Perez and Richard Elbert; daughter and son-in-law Tonya and Robert Garza; son David Earley and Tammy Maypole; mother Doris Willbern; sister Dinah Willbern; sister and brother-in-law Claire and Jay Shippy; granddaughters Jordan Perez, Hailey Ramsay, Ashely Lorance, and Holly Maypole; grandsons Jacob Lorance, Dillon Maypole and Robert Elbert; nieces Allie and Tracie Shippy; and many other extended family members.

Linda and Fred were married 28 years and were inseparable. Her faith in the lord and her love for Fred and her family defined her life. She was a devoted daughter and caregiver to her mother who is living with Alzehimers; Mom may not physically know the pain of losing her child, but she will know someone that loved her dearly does not visit her anymore.

Linda loved her children and her grandchildren. Her house was the place all family members would gather for holdiays and special celebrations. She always amazed us with how many people she could feed at a moments notice. Thanksgiving dinner was made from her memories as a child cooking with Mom and her grandparents; there were no recipe cards, just loving meals and traditions made from a heart full of memories.

Linda was also known as "Sister" not only by her sisters, Dinah and Claire, but by many close family members and friends. Even her nieces called her "Aunt Sister". Sister was in many ways our 2nd mother. Our sisterly bond was rooted in our childhood and grew stronger with each life change and bump along the way. It's incomprehensible to think there will only be two of us now.

Linda was a loyal friend to so many. She cared so much for her friends at work, childhood friends and her church family friends. The outpouring of love over the past few days is a witness to how much she was loved and how deeply she will be missed by everyone who was blesssed to be part of her life.
