Life Legacy

On November 9, 2010, Irene was called home to join her beloved husband Herbert. She would say she died of a “broken heart.” Herb and Irene celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary on December 16, 2006, at Montclair Estates in Garland. She was born to Bernard and Marie Schroeder Bosse on November 11, 1914, in Hamilton, Texas, the last of seven children. The couple resided in Fort Worth/Lake Worth, members of Trinity Lutheran Church, for over 50 years. She is preceded in death by, her husband, parents, four sisters, two brothers and their spouses. Surviving are daughter Dolores Rogers, sons Larry and Don Nichter, and their spouses, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Williams Memorial Chapel on Saturday, November 13, from 9:30AM to 10:30AM, followed immediately by memorial service. Interment will be at Greenwood Memorial Park, Woodlawn Gardens, in Fort Worth, Texas, at 1:00PM. Pastor John Schelter of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Mesquite will officiate.
